The Honorary Consul of France in Limerick is Dr Loïc GUYON. He has jurisdiction over the Mid-West Region of Ireland (Co. Clare, Co. Limerick & Co. Tipperary). The role of the Honorary Consul is three-fold:
1. Give administrative support and emergency consular protection to French nationals residing or visiting the Mid-West region;
2. Deal with maritime affairs in relation to French ships berthing at Mid-West harbours or sailing off the Mid-West coast;
3. Act as a representative of the Embassy of France to local authorities and work with them to promote cultural and economic links between France and the Mid-West region.

In case of emergency, please call 087 67 07 417 between 9am and 10pm or 061 593 579 after 10am (if the Honorary Consul is not reachable, please call the emergency number of the Embassy of France in Dublin: 086 60 31 380. 
Please note that Dr GUYON will be unavailable between Tuesday 16 July and Wednesday 21 August included. During that period, please call directly the above-mentioned emergency number of the Embassy of France in Dublin.
